(June 29, 2007) After serving nearly 2,000 families, our current First-time Homebuyer Closing Cost Assistance Program has ended.

The Housing Trust of Santa Clara County is committed to helping families afford homes in Silicon Valley by offering the most effective assistance available and providing standard-setting customer service. We are pleased to announce that a new First-time Homebuyer Downpayment Assistance Program will begin on October 1, 2007; details and new application forms will be available before September 4, 2007. Effective immediately, applications for the current, $6,500 closing cost program will no longer be accepted, as this program has ended. Any loans for which funds have been committed will continue to be funded.
