(June 7, 2006) On June 8, 2006 Housing Trust of Santa Clara County Executive Director Taylor Dial will help celebrate the grand opening of Moulton Plaza, a 66-unit family apartment development in Sunnyvale.
The Housing Trust is pleased to partner with respected developer Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition to create badly-needed affordable family housing in the area; the Trust has invested $500,000 in Moulton Plaza, bringing our total invested in the city of Sunnyvale to over $1.4 million.
Moulton Plaza residents will enjoy a central location, close to transit and shopping; amenities include a community room, computer center, laundry facilities and a landscaped plaza.
The Housing Trust of Santa Clara County is a non-profit community benefit organization, funded entirely by voluntary contributions from local employers, employer foundations, governments and citizens. Since the trust began investing in the community in 2001, it has loaned or granted more than $22 million, helping create more than 5,600 affordable housing opportunities.
