(San Jose, CA: April 21, 2005) At their regular meeting today, the Board of Directors of the Housing Trust of Santa Clara County appointed Mr. Taylor Dial as Executive Director of the agency. Dial’s selection follows an extensive national search process; he replaces Roccie Hill, who resigned in December 2004.

Formerly a consultant and partner with Wysocki Dial & Associates, a San Jose-based multiservice consulting firm, Dial has a strong background in strategic planning and organizational development. An active community volunteer, Dial serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Santa Cruz AIDS Project, and is a member of the San Jose Leadership Council class of 2004, where he served on the leadership council.

A resident of Ben Lomond, Dial attended Marietta College and Pepperdine University.

Speaking for the Housing Trust, Board Chair and Santa Clara County Supervisor Don Gage said “Taylor has done an exemplary job as interim Executive Director. His administrative and fundraising skills will serve us well, and we are delighted that he has chosen to help us create affordable housing for Silicon Valley families.”

Dial said “I am excited to be part of such a motivated and effective team at the HTSCC and look forward to building upon the tremendous successes realized to date by the visionaries who began the trust five years ago.”
